Preparing Roof Pillar (Outer Panel) For Installation

Fit rear side section.

1.1 Cut rear side section at the transitions to the body leaving an overlap of 30 mm.

Roof pillar (outer panel)

Fit in roof pillar (outer panel) again.
1. 2.1 Make cuts through the roof pillar (outer panel) and body in the overlap areas.

Prepare connection areas for bonding and welding.

Red	Plug-welding/apply a full weld using inert gas without bonding
Green	Resistance spot-welding
Yellow	Bonding + resistance spot-welding
