Removing Camshafts

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.
- Remove locking tools -2 to 5-
.
Camshaft clamp
Information
CAUTION: The camshaft bearing covers and the corresponding installation positions are numbered and do not have to be marked. - Remove camshafts -5 and 6-
.
- 2.1 Unscrew screws on camshaft bearing covers -Arrows- .
- 2.2 Remove camshaft bearing covers -1 to 4- and set them down on a suitable base.
- 2.3 Remove camshafts -5 and 6- and set them down on a suitable base.
