Removing Rear Apron

The help of another person is required.
- Unscrew screws -1-
for the rear panel -2-
on the underbody.

- Open the rear lid.
- Unscrew screws -2-
and remove guide pin.

- Remove trim panel -2-

Rear lid seal
- 4.1 Pull off rear lid seal -1- in the trim panel area -2- .
- 4.2 Unclip trim panel -2- on the tail lights -Arrow- and remove it.
- Unscrew screws -3-
on the rear retaining strip.
Mounting for rear apron, top
- Detach side trim panel at the right -1-
in the luggage compartment.

- 6.1 Open side trim panel at the right -1- in the luggage compartment until the electric plug connection -2- is accessible.
- 6.2 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2- on switch for rear lowering.
- Disconnect wire harness for rear apron -4-
.

- 7.1 Unclip electric plug connection -1- from holder.
- 7.2 Release and unplug electric plug connections -2- .
- 7.3 Press rubber sleeve -3- outwards out of the body.
- 7.4 Guide wire harness for rear apron -4- outwards through the bore.
- Unscrew screws -1-
on rear wheel housing liners.

- Unscrew screws -2-
on the retaining strip.

- Remove rear apron -1-

Rear apron
- 10.1 Unclip rear apron -1- first at the locking lug -arrow A- by pulling it to the side.
- 10.2 Unclip rear apron -1- at the locking lugs -arrow B- .
- 10.3 Remove rear apron -1- as far as required to the rear until the camera washer system hose -2- is accessible.
- 10.4 Release and disconnect connection for camera washer system -3- .
- 10.5 Remove rear apron -1- by pulling it to the rear.
