Removing Front Apron

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment. 

• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant. 
• Some steps must be carried out automatically. 
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 

1. Unscrew bottom screws -1-  .

2. Loosen front apron in the wheel housing.

   Front wheel housing liner

   1. 2.1  Unscrew screws -1-  and loosen front wheel housing liner -2-  in the front area.
   2. 2.2  Unscrew and remove screws -3-  .
   3. 2.3  Release and unplug electric plug connections -4-  .
   4. 2.4  Unclip clip -5-  .
3. Loosen front apron at the top.

   Mounting point for front apron

   1. 3.1  Unscrew screws at the sides -1- 
   2. 3.2  Unscrew screws at the top -2-  .
   3. 3.3  Unclip front apron -3-  and remove it by pulling it forward.
