Installing Sealing Ring For Front Left Halfshaft Flange

Pressure piece T40164

1. 1.1  Oil the external circumference of the new sealing ring and fit it with the open side on the > T40164 - pressure piece  .
2. 1.2  Tap sealing ring in as far as it will go using pressure piece. Do not tilt it.
3. 1.3  Half-fill the space between the sealing and dust lips with sealing grease.

• Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) 
• Final tightening + 90°
