Removing Belt TENSIONER (Air-Conditioning Compressor)

WARNING: Rotating components 
  • Danger of limbs being trapped or severed 
    1. → Disconnect power supply to the drive motor of components or to the battery.
  1. Remove belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor -3-  .

    Belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor

    1. 1.1  Unclip cover on belt tensioner.
    2. 1.2  Loosen screw -2-  by approx. 1/2-1 turn.
    3. 1.3  Slacken drive belt for air-conditioning compressor -1-  .
      1. 1.3.1  Swivel belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor -3-  at the Torx splines -4-  clockwise -Arrow-  .
    4. 1.4  Unscrew screw -2-  .
    5. 1.5  Remove belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor -3-  .
