Installing Drive Plate

NOTIFICATION 

Dirt and contamination 

• Risk of damage to units or components 
  1. → Protect components from dirt and contamination.
  2. → Clean or replace dirty components.

1. Position Hall sender rotor -1-  and check position of centring pin -Arrow-  .

2. Fit the drive plate, check the position of the centring pin and secure the drive plate with a new  screw.
3. Position the > 10-201 - bracket-1-  with two washers -2-  on the drive plate -3-  as shown -Arrow-  .

4. Secure the drive plate -1-  .

   1. 4.1  Replace screws -2-  and tighten in diagonally opposite sequence.
   2. 4.2  Tighten new  screws -2-  in diagonally opposite sequence using > VAS 6942 - torque/torque angle wrench, 20-400 Nm  .
      • pre-tightening 60 Nm (44.3 ftlb.) 
      • final-tightening + 90°
