Preliminary Work
For operating cable for emergency release (front section):
Remove transmission support.

For operating cable for emergency release (rear section):
Remove cover for centre underbody at the left.
> WM, 519319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CENTRE UNDERBODY
Loosen front floor covering (on driver's side) and lift it up as far as required until the actuator for the operating cable for emergency release in the interior is accessible.
