- Calibration is also required for vehicles with steel spring suspension. The angle sensors for headlight beam adjustment are calibrated during the process.
- During height sensor calibration, the vehicle will be raised and lowered and then balance itself out.
- The measured vehicle height values must correspond approximately to the specified values.
Calibration must be performed if one or more of the following situations apply:
- Control unit was replaced.
- Level sensors were replaced.
- Height values of the vehicle deviate from the required height values,
- Vehicle lies to one side after being raised. If lifting platform mode is activated, carry out a test drive (lifting platform mode switches off and the vehicle corrects itself). If this does not work, check the system for faults and then calibrate the system.
Level sensors are calibrated by determining a correction value (corresponding to the actual height of the vehicle) and storing it permanently in the control unit.
Height measurement points on front axle
The distance between the lower edge of the wing and upper edge of the measured-value pickup is measured on front and rear axle.
