Subsequent Work

  1. Installing cover for centre underbody

    > WM, 519319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CENTRE UNDERBODY

  2. Install transmission support.

    > 373819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRANSMISSION SUPPORT

  3. Install front carpet.

    > 704119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT CARPET

  4. Install centre console.

    > 68171900 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTRE CONSOLE

  5. Fill in refrigerant.

    > 870317 DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT R134A

    > 870317 DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT R1234YF

    6  Bleed the cooling system.

    > Refer to the appropriate Service Information

  6. Check the cooling system.

    > 190101 CHECKING COOLING SYSTEM

    Information 

    If servo motors were replaced or work was performed on the flap mechanism, the end positions of the servo motors must be taught.

  7. Teach end positions of servo motors.
    1. 8.1  Connect the PIWIS Tester  to the vehicle and switch on the PIWIS Tester. 
    2. 8.2  Switch on ignition.
    3. 8.3  Start diagnostics.
    4. 8.4  Select "Air conditioning"  control unit.
    5. 8.5  Select the "Maintenance/repairs"  tab.
    6. 8.6  Select the "Teach and check Hap servo motors"  menu item and press F12 to continue.
    7. 8.7  Follow the instructions on the Tester.
