Installing Engine Guard

Information 

Screws with encapsulation must be replaced following each removal.

Clean threaded gears before inserting new screws.

1. Install engine guard.

   Engine guard

   1. 1.1  Fit engine guard -1-  .
   2. 1.2  Screw in engine guard screws -2 and 5-  by hand.
   3. 1.3  Fit engine guard screws -4-  with washers -3-  and screw in by hand.
2. Tighten screws on engine guard.

   Engine guard

   1. 2.1  Tighten screws on engine guard at the front -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.) 

   2. 2.2  Tighten screws on engine guard at the side -4-  .

      > Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.) 

   3. 2.3  Tighten screws on engine guard at the rear -5-  .

      > Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
