Removing Exhaust System

- → Get someone to help if necessary.
- Unclip line clip -1-

- Remove tunnel strut -1-

Tunnel strut
- 2.1 Unscrew screws -2, 3 and 4- and remove tunnel strut
- Secure the exhaust system using > VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack-1-
.

- 3.1 Position > VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack-1- under the exhaust system in such a way that both pipes can be supported at the same time.
- 3.2 Guide tension strap around both pipes and secure it.
- 3.3 Raise the exhaust system slightly.
- Make sure the catalytic converters -1-
do not snap off.
Catalytic converter secured
- 4.1 Secure catalytic converters -1- with pieces of wire/tie-wraps -2- on the cardan shaft -3- .
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-

- Loosen exhaust system -1-

Exhaust system
- 6.1 Pull rubber holder -2- off the exhaust bracket.
- 6.2 Loosen screws -3- and push clamps -4- towards the exhaust system -1- .
- 6.2.1 Replace clamp -4- .
- 6.3 Unscrew screws -5- .
- Remove exhaust system.

- 7.1 Guide the exhaust system, which is secured with a tension strap -Arrows- , downwards using the > VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack .
