Removing Padding For Rear Backrest (1/3-Split Folding Rear Seat)

  1. Unclip clips -1-  from seat cover for rear backrest -2-  at the bottom.

  2. Disconnect electric wire harness -2-  at the bottom of the seat frame.

    1. 2.1  Release and unplug electric plug connections -1-  .

      Information 

      Mark installation positions!

    2. 2.2  Disconnect electric wire harness -2-  on the seat frame at the bottom.
  3. Loosen seat cover on rear backrest -1-  at the seat backrest.

    1. 3.1  Detach seat cover on rear backrest -1-  at the seat backrest.
    2. 3.2  Feed electric wire harness -2-  through the seat cover on the rear backrest -1-  .
  4. Loosen Velcro fasteners -1-  and guide the seat cover -2-  forward.

  5. Loosen clips -1-  and bend tab -2-  outwards.

  6. Loosen clips -1-  and bend tab -2-  outwards.

  7. Disengage clamping strips -1-  and detach seat cover on rear backrest -2-  from the backrest frame.

  8. Place catcher -1-  over the side air bag -2-  .

  9. Remove headrest guide at the left -3-  .

    1. 9.1  Press padding for rear backrest (1/3-split folding rear seat) -1-  away from the backrest frame.
    2. 9.2  Release locking lug -2-  and press out headrest guide at the left -3-  .
  10. Remove headrest guide at the right -2-  .

    1. 10.1  Press padding for rear backrest (1/3-split folding rear seat) -1-  away from the backrest frame -arrow A-  .
    2. 10.2  Release headrest guide at the right -2-arrow B-  and press it out.
  11. Remove padding for rear backrest (1/3-split folding rear seat).
