Prepare The Vehicle

  1. Drive the vehicle tension-free onto the wheel-alignment stand, ensuring that axle components are not under tension by moving the vehicle forward and backward several times if necessary.
  2. Remove wheel trim covers -1-  from all four wheels using > 9229/1 - puller hook  .

    Information 

    Contact surfaces of the wheel hub bore -1-  must be clean and smooth. Even minor contamination (e.g. paint residues) in the wheel hub bore can result in incorrect measurements.

  3. > VAS 6918 - Quick clamping device  must be clamped in the wheel hub bore on all four wheels.
  4. Fit measured-value pickups to the > VAS 6918 - quick-clamping unit  on all four wheels.
