Preliminary Work

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

  → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

  → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

1. Disconnect battery ground strap.

   > 978509 LOOSENING AND SECURING GROUND STRAP FOR BATTERY

2. Wait 1 minute after disconnecting the battery.
3. For 4-zone air conditioning: 

   Remove additional air conditioner.

   > 881019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ADDITIONAL AIR CONDITIONER

4. For 2-zone air conditioning: 

   Remove centre console.

   > 681719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTRE CONSOLE

5. Unclip air duct -1-  (-2-  ).
