Installing Airbag Sensor On Lock Carrier

Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
- → Always use new screws or nuts following removal.
- → Comply with instructions for repairs.
- → Observe specified tightening torques.
- → Carry out a visual inspection of parts used.
Information
- Make sure that the airbag sensor is positioned correctly .
- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Align airbag sensor on lock carrier with positioning pin in the slot of the lock carrier.
Tighten new fastening screw to > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) .
