Removing Glove Compartment Lock

NOTIFICATION 

Lock cylinder removed and installed incorrectly 

• Loss of small parts 
• Risk of damage to lock cylinder 
  1. → Remove and install lock cylinder only with the key inserted.

Information 

The rubber stop on the handle can loosen or fall out when removing the safety clip.

Fit rubber stop again correctly.

1. Open the handle -1-  (-Arrow-  ).

2. Remove safety clip -2-  for glove compartment lock -1-  .

   Safety clips

   1. 2.1 Guide tool > 3438 - hook  into the groove on the handle.
   2. 2.2 Pull safety clip -2-  out completely -Arrow-  .
3. Remove glove compartment lock -1-  .

   Key

   1. 3.1 Remove emergency key from the driver's key.
   2. 3.2 Insert emergency key into the glove compartment lock -1-  .
4. Pull glove compartment lock -1-  with emergency key out of the handle -Arrow-  .
