Charging Lithium-Ion Battery

Information
The lithium-ion battery must be charged with a charge voltage of 14.4 volts.
Before charging the battery, check setting parameters of the charger and change them if necessary. Follow the operating instructions for the charger to do this.
- Connect battery charger with at least > current 90 A to vehicle battery.
Charge lithium-ion battery until the charging current is < 5 A.
Use > VAS 5908 - battery charger 90 A .
Open protective cover on the positive terminal for jump-lead starting.
First, connect the positive cable from the charger to the positive terminal.
Connect the negative cable from the charger to the ground point for jump-lead starting.
Read operating instructions for the charger.
Switch off all loads.
Switch on the charger.
