Removing Rear Upper Part Of Lid Lock Warning

Danger of limbs being trapped or severed
- → Do not reach into the danger area.
- → Secure the system to prevent it from being activated accidentally.
- → Keep third parties away from the danger area.

Information

When removing the upper part of the lock using a closing aid, first disconnect the plug connection for the power supply.
This prevents the closing aid motor from starting up while you are disconnecting the plug connection/control system.

Switch off ignition and remove remote control.
Release and unplug electric plug connection -1- .

Unscrew fastening nuts -1- and loosen upper part of rear lid lock -2- .
