Removing Control Unit For Memory Seat Adjustment

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts. 

1. Move front seat all the way back and up.
   NOTE: Voltage peaks 

   • Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 
     1. → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
     2. → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.
2. Release electric plug connections -1-  and disconnect them from control unit for memory seat adjustment -2-  .

3. Release holder -1-  and remove control unit for memory seat adjustment -2-  from the seat frame.
