Screws on coolant regulator housing

1. 2.1  Fit coolant regulator housing -1-  .
2. 2.2  Screw in and tighten screws on coolant regulator housing in the sequence -2 to 10-  . Screws -2 to 4-  (M6 x 40):

   > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 

   Screws -5 to 10-  (M6 x 25):

   > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)

Line on coolant regulator housing

1. 3.1  Tighten screw -2-  .

   Tightening torque: > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)

Guide tube for oil dipstick

1. 4.1  Replace seal on guide tube for oil dipstick.
2. 4.2  Insert guide tube for oil dipstick -1-  in direction of -Arrow-  .
3. 4.3  Tighten screw on guide tube for oil dipstick -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)  .

Coolant pipe for coolant pump

1. 5.1  Push coolant pipe for coolant pump -1-  onto coolant regulator housing and secure spring band clamp -3-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clam pliers  .
2. 5.2  Tighten screws on coolant pipe for coolant pump -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)

Cable duct

1. 8.1  Move cable duct -1-  into installation position.
2. 8.2  Screw in and tighten screws on cable duct -2-  .

   Front left to cylinder head: > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 

   Front right to cylinder head: > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)

Electric wire harnesses

1. 9.1  Connect and lock electric plug connection -3-  .
2. 9.2  Clip electric wire harnesses -1-  into clips -4-  .
