Subsequent Work

  1. Install retaining strip.

    > 631719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING RETAINING STRIP

  2. Installing front air guide.

    > 192419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT AIR GUIDE

  3. Install horn at the left and right.

    > 905019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HORN

  4. Install headlights.

    > 941519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEADLIGHTS

  5. Install cooling air flaps.

    > WM, 193519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (LOWER) COOLING-AIR FLAPS 

  6. Adjust distance measuring sensor.

    > 278515 ADJUSTING DISTANCE MEASURING SENSOR CONTROL UNIT

    Information 

    If the component is replaced, perform adaptation using the PIWIS Tester.

  7. Perform adaptation. Follow the procedure on the Tester and comply with instructions.
    1. 7.1 Hybrid vehicles: 

      Path: Thermal management control unit → Maintenance/repairs → Programming cooling-air flaps

    2. 7.2 Non-hybrid vehicles: 

      Path: DME control unit → Maintenance/repairs → Adaptation
