Removing Pressure Pipe (At The Turbocharger)

CAUTION: Hot components 
  • Risk of burns 
    1. → Let hot components cool down.
    2. → Wear personal protective gear.
  1. Disconnect pressure hose -1-  at pressure pipe -2-  .

    Pressure hose on pressure pipe

    1. 1.1  Loosen screw-type clamp on pressure hose -3-  .
    2. 1.2  Pull pressure hose -1-  off pressure pipe -2-  .
    3. 1.3  Remove screw-type clamp on pressure hose -3-  and set pressure hose -1-  aside.
  2. Remove pressure pipes -1 and 2-  .

    Pressure pipe on turbocharger

    1. 2.1  Unclip line -3-  from pressure pipes -1 and 2-  .
    2. 2.2  Loosen screw-type clamp on connecting tube for pressure pipes -4-  .
    3. 2.3  Unscrew screws for right pressure pipe -5-  .
    4. 2.4  Remove right pressure pipe -1-  with connecting tube -6-  .
      1. 2.4.1  Close off opening on the turbocharger using a suitable stopper.
    5. 2.5  Unscrew screws for left pressure pipe -7-  .
    6. 2.6  Remove left pressure pipe -2-  .
      1. 2.6.1  Close off opening on the turbocharger using a suitable stopper.
