Installing Fuel Line (Left High-Pressure Pump To Rail)

- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
- 1.1 Coat the thread of the union nuts with Microgleit DF 977S and leave to dry off for at least 5 minutes before fitting.
- 1.2 Tighten union nuts using > V.A.G 1331/6 - Open-jawed wrench insert, a/f 17 to > Initial tightening 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) and > Final tightening + 50° .
- 1.3 Tighten screw on fuel line holder to > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) .
- 1.4 Tighten nuts on ground lines to > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) (6.6 ftlb.) .
