  1. Remove front cover.

    > Removing and installing front cover 

    Only for removing front knock sensor on cylinder bank 1:  Remove generator.

    > Removing and installing generator 

    Only for removing front knock sensor on cylinder bank 2: 

    Remove air-conditioning compressor.

    V8 biturbo:

    > Removing and installing air-conditioning compressor 

    Only for removing rear knock sensors (on both cylinder banks): 

    Remove engine carrier.

    > Removing and installing engine mounts (V8 biturbo)
