Removing The Front Wheel Cover (Sport Design)

Information 

Wheel arch trims (Sport Design) cannot be removed without irreparable damage and therefore must always be replaced.

Information 

Wheel arch trim front (Sport Design) is in two parts. The two sections can be replaced independently of each other.

1. Unscrew screws -1-  .

2. Release wheel cover at the front (Sport Design).
   1. 2.1 Release locking lug -arrow A-  and pull front wheel cover (Sport Design) outwards slightly -arrow B-  .

   2. 2.2 Release front wheel cover (Sport Design) at the retaining clips using a plastic wedge and pull it out -arrow A-  .

3. Heat strips of adhesive tape in the marked area using a > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  and carefully loosen front wheel cover (Sport Design) from below using a plastic wedge.

4. Remove front wheel cover (Sport Design) upwards.
