  1. Remove upper chain housing cover.

    Refer to the appropriate service information.

  2. Remove center intake-air distributor.

    > 244619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INTAKE-AIR DISTRIBUTOR (V6 TURBO)

  3. Remove brake booster vacuum pump.

    > Refer to WM, 477619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM PUMP (V6 BITURBO)

  4. Remove left engine carrier -1-  .

    Left engine carrier

    1. 4.1  Unscrew and remove screws -2-  .
    2. 4.2  Remove left engine carrier -1-  .
  5. Remove vacuum reservoir -1-  .

    Vacuum reservoir

    1. 5.1  Unscrew and remove screws -2-  .
    2. 5.2  Unscrew nuts -3-  .
    3. 5.3  Remove vacuum reservoir -1-  and set it aside.
  6. Secure engine to assembly support.

    > 100113 SECURING ENGINE ON ASSEMBLY SUPPORT (V6 TURBO)
