Removing Cylinder Head Cover - Left Cylinder Bank

  1. Release and disconnect electric plug connections for camshaft sensors -1-  .

  2. Remove cylinder head cover -20-  .

    Cylinder head cover on left cylinder bank

    1. 2.1  Unscrew screws on cylinder head cover -1 to 19-  .
    2. 2.2  Screw two screws (M8 x 25) into the threaded bores -Arrows-  by hand.
    3. 2.3  Tighten screws alternately by half a turn until the cylinder head cover -20-  is loosened.
    4. 2.4  Remove cylinder head cover -20-  .
