Removing Solenoid Hydraulic Valve For Valve Lift Adjustment - V6 Monoturbo

Disconnect pressure hose -1-  .

Pressure hose on throttle housing

1. 1.1  Loosen screw-type clamp on pressure hose -2-  .
2. 1.2  Pull pressure hose -1-  together with screw-type clamp -2-  off the throttle housing and set them aside.
3. 1.3  Close off connections with stoppers.

Remove torque support bracket -1-  .

Torque support bracket

1. 2.1  Push hoses -2 and 3-  aside so that the torque support bracket -1-  is accessible.
2. 2.2  Unscrew screws on torque support bracket -4-  .
3. 2.3  Remove torque support bracket -1-  .

Molded part

1. 3.1  For better access, release and disconnect plug connections for ignition coils -2-  .
2. 3.2  Release and disconnect electric plug connection for knock sensor -3-  .
3. 3.3  Release and disconnect electric plug connections for solenoid hydraulic valves for valve lift adjustment -4-  .
4. 3.4  Unscrew screws for ground lines -5-  and move ground lines aside.
5. 3.5  Lift up molded part -1-  for easier access to the solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift adjustment.

1. 4.1  Unscrew screws on solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift adjustment -1-  .
2. 4.2  Remove solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift adjustment -2-  .
