Installing Solenoid Hydraulic Valve For Valve Lift Adjustment

- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
- 1.1 Replace screws for solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift adjustment.
- 1.2
Tighten screws for solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift adjustment.
> Initial tightening 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)
> Torque angle + 90°
- 1.3
Tighten screws for ground lines.
> Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
- 1.4 Only after removing solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift adjustment on right cylinder bank:
Tighten screws on torque support bracket.
Top screw (M8): > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)
Bottom screw (M10): > Tightening torque 55 Nm (41 ftlb.)
- 1.5 Only for V6 monoturbo:
Tighten screw-type clamp on pressure hose.
> Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.)
