Removing Balance Shaft Drive Wheel

  1. Remove balance shaft bracing wheel -1-  .
    1. 1.1  Insert special tool > T40362 - Locking tool  as far as it will go into the cut-out on the balance shaft bracing wheel -1-  . Then turn it 180° clockwise to lock the backlash compensation.
    2. 1.2  Loosen and unscrew screw -2-  and counter the crankshaft at the previously fitted special tool > T40049 - Special wrench  .
    3. 1.3  Remove balance shaft bracing wheel -1-  .

  2. Turn special tool > T40362 - Locking tool  180° anti-clockwise and pull it out of the balance shaft bracing wheel.
