Installing Drive Plate

NOTIFICATION 

Dirt and contamination 

• Risk of damage to units or components 

  → Protect components from dirt and contamination.

  → Clean or replace dirty components.

1. Install drive plate -1-  .

   Drive plate

   1. 1.1  Fit drive plate -1-  and check the position of the centring pin while doing so!
   2. 1.2  Secure the drive plate -1-  with a new  screw -2-  .
   3. 1.3  > VAS 6766 - Counterhold tool  must be secured as shown -Arrow-  .
   4. 1.4  Fit the remaining new  screws -2-  and tighten crosswise.

      > pre-tightening 60 Nm (44.3 ftlb.) 

      > final-tightening + 90°
