Installing The Fuel Line (High-Pressure, Right)

Install fuel line

1. 1.1  Coat the thread of the union nuts -2 and 3-  with Microgleit DF 977S. Observe a drying time of at least 5 minutes before fitting.
2. 1.2  Position fuel line -1-  and fit union nuts -2 and 3-  by hand.
3. 1.3  Screw in and tighten screw -4-  .

   > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.6 ftlb.) 

4. 1.4  Tighten union nuts -2 and 3-  using >V.A.G 1331/6 - open-jawed wrench insert, a/f 17  .

   > Tightening torque of 10 Nm (7.4 ftlb.) 

   > Torque angle 60° 

5. 1.5  Tighten screws for torque support bracket.

   M8:  > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) 

   M10:  > Tightening torque 55 Nm (41 ftlb.)
