Installing Throttle Housing

Information 

If the throttle housing was replaced  , it must be taught.

> 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3  must be connected. Then teach the throttle housing.

Select "DME" control unit.

Select "Maintenance and repairs".

Select "Adaptations".

Select "Throttle valve" and start the procedure.

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
   1. 1.1  Fit new O-rings on the throttle housing.
   2. 1.2  Tighten screws for throttle housing.

      > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

   3. 1.3  Tighten screw-type clamps securing pressure hoses to plenum chamber.

      > Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4.1 ftlb.)
