Removing Tank Vent

  1. Open heat protection -1-  .

  2. Loosen tank vent valve -1-  .

    Tank vent

    1. 2.1  Loosen spring band clamp -2-  using >VAS 6890 - spring band clamp pliers  and pull hose off the tank vent valve -1-  .
    2. 2.2  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3-  .
    3. 2.3  Unclip tank vent valve -1-  from holders -4-  .
  3. Unscrew screw -1-  and disconnect line -2-  from turbocharger.

  4. Disconnect tank vent valve line -1-  from positive crankcase ventilation.

    1. 4.1  Release and disconnect quick connector -2-  .
  5. Remove tank vent valve together with lines.
