Installing Crankshaft Vibration Damper

Fit crankshaft vibration damper -1- . Be careful of the dowel pin -2- .

> T40330 - Counterhold tool (-1-) must now be fitted.

Brace
1. 3.1 Turn the crankshaft at the screw -5- so that > T40330 - counterhold tool (-1-) can be fitted.
2. 3.2 > T40330 - Counterhold tool (-1-) must be fitted on the crankshaft vibration damper -2- .
3. 3.3 Place spacer sleeve T40330/7 (-3-) underneath, screw in screw -4- and tighten to > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) .
Tighten screw -5- to > Initial tightening Step 150 Nm > Initial tightening Step 2 100 Nm > Final tightening 180 Grad .

> T40330 - Counterhold tool (-1-) must now be removed.

1. 5.1 Unscrew screw -4- .
2. 5.2 Remove spacer sleeve T40330/7 (-3-) and > T40330 - counterhold tool (-1-) .
Position deflection roller for V-belt (air-conditioning compressor) -2- , screw in new screw -1- and tighten to > Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.) .
