Removing Side Section Flap (Module)

The side section flap module will be damaged during removal and must be replaced during installation.
- Loosen emergency release > Emergency release
on the fuse box.
Emergency release
- 1.1 Remove cover on fuse box.
- 1.2 Unclip emergency release latch (cable) on the fuse box -Arrow- .
- Open side section flap.
- Loosen side section flap -Arrows-

Side panel flap (module)
- 3.1 At the marked positions -Arrows- , pierce the module using a screwdriver.
- Loosen side section flap > Side panel flap (module)

Side panel flap (module)
- 4.1 Pierce the module using a screwdriver -arrow A- .
- 4.2 Release locking lugs on inner part of side section flap (module) -arrow B- .
- Remove side section flap (module) > Side panel flap (module)

Side panel flap (module)
- 5.1 Swivel side section flap (module) > Side panel flap (module) out of the body aperture until the electric plug connections -1 and 2- are accessible.
- 5.2 Release and unplug electric plug connections -1 and 2- .
- 5.3 Pull drain hose -3- off the side section flap (module) > Side panel flap (module) .
- 5.4 Remove side section flap (module) > Side panel flap (module) .
- Remove actuator -1-
and charging operator control unit -2-

- 6.1 Unclip actuator -1- and charging operator control unit -2-(-Arrows-) .
- 6.2 Remove actuator -1- and charging operator control unit -2- .
