Removing Rear Upper Part Of Lid Lock

WARNING: Moving components
  • Danger of limbs being trapped or severed 
    • Do not reach into the danger area.
    • Secure the system to prevent it from being activated accidentally.
    • Keep third parties away from the danger area.
IMPORTANT:
  • When removing the upper part of the lock using a closing aid, first disconnect the plug connection for the power supply. 
  • This prevents the closing aid motor from starting up while you are disconnecting the plug connection/control system. 
  1. Switch off ignition and remove remote control.
  2. Release and unplug electric plug connection -1-  .

  3. Unscrew fastening nuts -1-  and loosen upper part of rear lid lock -2-  .

  4. Unclip bowden cable -1-  at the holder -2-  .

  5. Disengage bowden cable -1-  on upper part of rear lid lock -3-  .
