Removing Motor For Lid Closing Aid

Removing motor for lid closing aid. 

1. Remove upper part of rear lid lock -1-  and anti-theft protection cover -2-  .

   Upper part of lid lock, rear

   1. 1.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3-  .
   2. 1.2  Unscrew and remove screws -4-  .
   3. 1.3  Remove anti-theft protection cover -2-  and upper part of rear lid lock -1-  through the upper opening of the rear lid.
2. Detach Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -1-  from upper part of rear lid lock -2-  .

   Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor

   1. 2.1  Release and disconnect Bowden cable guide
   2. 2.2  Disengage Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -1-  from closing lever -4-  .
3. Remove foam cap for lid closing aid motor -1-  with Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -2-  .

   Foam cap for lid closing aid motor

   1. 3.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3-  .
   2. 3.2  Pull foam cap for lid closing aid motor -1-  out of opening in rear lid.
   3. 3.3  Guide Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -2-  through the opening in the rear lid and remove together with the foam cap for lid closing aid motor -1-.
4. Open foam cap for lid closing aid motor -2-  and remove lid closing aid motor -1-.
