Removing Motor For Lid Closing Aid

Removing motor for lid closing aid.
- Remove upper part of rear lid lock -1-
and anti-theft protection cover -2-
.
Upper part of lid lock, rear
- 1.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3- .
- 1.2 Unscrew and remove screws -4- .
- 1.3 Remove anti-theft protection cover -2- and upper part of rear lid lock -1- through the upper opening of the rear lid.
- Detach Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -1-
from upper part of rear lid lock -2-

Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor
- 2.1 Release and disconnect Bowden cable guide
- 2.2 Disengage Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -1- from closing lever -4- .
- Remove foam cap for lid closing aid motor -1-
with Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -2-
.
Foam cap for lid closing aid motor
- 3.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3- .
- 3.2 Pull foam cap for lid closing aid motor -1- out of opening in rear lid.
- 3.3 Guide Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -2- through the opening in the rear lid and remove together with the foam cap for lid closing aid motor -1-.
- Open foam cap for lid closing aid motor -2-
and remove lid closing aid motor -1-.
