Installing Motor For Lid Closing Aid

  1. Position lid closing aid motor -1-  in foam cap for lid closing aid motor -2-  and close the foam cap.

  2. Install foam cap for lid closing aid motor -1-  with Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -2-  .

    Foam cap for closing aid motor

    1. 2.1  Position Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -2-  through the opening in the rear lid.
    2. 2.2  Insert foam cap for lid closing aid motor -1-  into the opening in the rear lid and press it on firmly.
    3. 2.3  Connect and lock electric plug connection -3-  .
  3. Install Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -1-  on upper part of rear lid lock -2-  .

    Bowden cable for closing aid

    1. 3.1  Engage Bowden cable for lid closing aid motor -1-  in closing lever -4-  .
    2. 3.2  Fit Bowden cable guide -3-  and lock it.
  4. Install upper part of rear lid lock -1-  and anti-theft protection cover -2-  .

    Upper part of lid lock, rear

    1. 4.1  Position anti-theft protection cover -2-  and upper part of rear lid lock -1-  through the upper opening in the rear lid.
    2. 4.2  Tighten screws -4-  to > Tightening torque 30 N.m (22 ft.lb) 
    3. 4.3  Connect and lock electric plug connection -3-  .
