Removing Actuating Cylinder For Rear Lid

CAUTION: Incorrect handling of actuating cylinders
  • Actuating cylinders can burst
  • Risk of eye injuries
  • Risk of bruising
    • The actuating cylinders must be in idle state in order to remove them.
    • Open the lid fully.
    • Ensure the end position of the lid manually.
    • Secure the lid after removing the actuating cylinders to prevent it from closing accidentally.
    • Do not use force when opening the actuating cylinders due to the high internal pressure.
IMPORTANT: The help of another person is required to prevent the rear lid from closing accidentally.
  1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  .

  2. Unclip electric line from holder -2-  .

  3. Loosen rubber sleeve -1-  and guide out electric wire harness.

  4. Release safety clips -1-  using a suitable tool.

  5. Pull actuating cylinder for rear lid -1-  off the ball pin -2-  (-Arrow-)  and remove it.
