Removing Front Pneumatic Spring

CAUTION: Incorrect handling of gas-filled shock absorbers
  • Gas-filled shock absorbers can burst 
  • Risk of eye injuries 
  • Risk of bruising 
    • Gas-filled shock absorbers must be in idle state before removal.
    • Open the lid.
    • Secure the lid to prevent it from closing accidentally following removal of the gas-filled shock absorbers.
    • Do not use force to open the gas-filled shock absorbers because of their high internal pressure.
IMPORTANT: The help of another person is required.
  1. A second person must hold the front lid to prevent it from falling down.
  2. Loosen safety clip at the top -1-  using a suitable tool and pull front pneumatic spring -2-  off the ball pin at the top.

  3. Loosen safety clip at the bottom -3-  using a suitable tool and pull front pneumatic spring -2-  off the ball pin at the bottom.

  4. Remove front pneumatic spring.
