Preparing Side Section Lower Part For Installation

IMPORTANT: Countersunk head of the flow-form rivets must be pointing inwards. Observe the required punch and joining direction.
IMPORTANT: Also drill through the underlying con ponent in order to ensure adequate clearance for blind rivets.
  1. Fit in side section lower part and secure it to the body.
  2. Drill bore holes for blind rivets -1-  through both sheetmetal panels.

    Diameter 6, mm

  3. Drill bore holes for blind rivets -3-  through all sheetmetal panels.

  4. Punch holes for flow-form rivets -2-  .

  5. Remove side section lower part.
  6. Prepare the marked areas on the outside for bonding and riveting.
