Installing Rear Side Panel

IMPORTANT:
- Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive.
- The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed.
- Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available.
- Tack on sheetmetal insert Sheetmetal insert
used as a welding backing strip on the body.

- Stick insulation -1-
on the inside of the rear side panel.
Insulation
- Apply adhesive to bonding areas Bonding areas
. Application depth 3.0 mm

out slightly and guide rear side panel -2-
in underneath it.
Rear closing panel
- Fit and secure rear side section.
- Rivet in rear side panel.
