Removing Cross Panel (Lower Section)

Loosen sleeve -3- .

Coolant lines
1. 1.1 Loosen spring band clamps -1- using > VAS 6890 - Spring Band Clamp Pliers.
2. 1.2 Disconnect coolant lines -2- .
3. 1.3 Close off coolant lines -2- and connections using stoppers.
4. 1.4 Press grommet -3- through by pressing it to the rear -arrow- .
Only for non-hybrid vehicles:
Disconnect vacuum line -1- and press connection -2- through to the front -arrow- .

Vacuum line
Only for hybrid vehicles:
Disconnect lines -2 and 4- .

Lines
1. 3.1 Unscrew screw -1- .
2. 3.2 Pull out refrigerant line -2- .
3. 3.3 Loosen spring band clamps -3- using > VAS 6890 - Spring Band Clamp Pliers and disconnect coolant lines -4- .
4. 3.4 Close off coolant lines -4- and connections using stoppers.
Only for hybrid vehicles:
Unclip cable bushing -1- by pulling it to the rear -arrow- .

Cross panel (lower section)
1. 5.1 Unscrew and remove screws -1- .
2. 5.2 Lift cross panel (lower section) -2- up and remove it -arrows- .
