Resetting maintenance interval

The PIWIS Tester  instructions take precedence since the description may be different with later Tester releases.

The procedure described here has been structured in general terms. Different text or additional information may appear on the PIWIS Tester. 

  1. Connect the Tester to the vehicle and start it. Establish operational readiness on the vehicle.
  2. Place original remote control in emergency start tray.
  3. Select the vehicle type if necessary.
  4. In the Overview  , select the Instrument cluster  control unit. Press F12 to continue. The message "Create Vehicle Analysis Log (VAL)?" appears. Press F11 to continue.
  5. Select Maintenance/repairs. 
  6. Select Resetting Maintenance interval. 
    1. 6.1 Read and follow the instructions and information on the Tester.
    2. 6.2 Write maintenance interval according to menu guidance.
  7. Press F11 to return to the Overview menu.
