Checking Operation Of Electrical Equipment As Well As Warning And Indicator Lights

- Irreparable damage to control unit
- Damage to control unit
- Fault entries in the control unit
- Control unit programming/coding is aborted
- Malfunctions in the control unit, even during programming/coding
- → Switch off ignition before disconnecting the control unit.
- → Make sure that the power supply is not interrupted during programming/coding.
- → Connect the battery charger with at least > current 90 A to the vehicle battery.
Switch on the ignition.
Check function of warning and indicator lights (visual inspection).
Check function of exterior mirrors.
Check function of the audio system.
Check function of clock and - if fitted - Sport Chrono and compass.
Check operation of multi-function steering wheel.
Check that the horn is working.
Check that the electric parking brake is working.
Actuate power windows and check operation.
Check that the sun blind is working.
Check that the rear window heater is working.
Check function of cigarette lighter.
Adjust heater blower and fans to high and low and check air-flow rate at the air vents (front and rear).
Check operation of front seat adjustment system and comfort functions (heated seats, seat ventilation, etc.), if fitted.
Check operation of rear seat adjustment system and comfort functions (heated seats, seat ventilation, etc.), if fitted.
Check operation of orientation lights.
Check operation of interior lights.
Check operation of luggage compartment lights.
Check function of central locking system.
Switch off the ignition.
