Function Test On Front Lid Lock

Information 

The front lid lock does not have an emergency release.

When working close to the front apron and on the various parts of the lock, carry out the following function test before closing the lid:

  1. Check that the release cable is clipped fully into the brackets provided.
  2. Lock lower part of lid lock with a screwdriver.
  3. Release front lid lock using the lever in the passenger compartment.
  4. Perform a visual inspection to check that the front lid lock unlocks correctly.
