Disassembling Front Apron

Information

The number of electric plug connections, lines, fastening parts and sensors will vary depending on equipment.

Remove front air grille (basic).

Remove number plate cover.
> *** 668319 Removing and installing number plate cover
Remove front wire harness.
> *** 971519 Removing and installing front wire harness
For USA vehicles (CO2):
Remove side marker light.

Remove front spoiler.
> *** 660319 Removing and installing front spoiler
Unclip cover on towing lug -1- .

Cover for towing lug
1. 6.1 Release locking lug -2- and press out cover on towing lug -1- .
2. 6.2 Unhook safety strap -3- .
Remove lateral reinforcement -2- .

Lateral reinforcement
1. 7.1 Drill through blind rivets -1- on the lateral reinforcement -2- . > Diameter 4 mm
2. 7.2 Unclip lateral reinforcement -2- (-3- ).
Unclip lower side moulding -1- (-2- ).

Unclip holder -1- together with ParkAssist parking sensor -2- .
