Removing Seat Cross Member

IMPORTANT: Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.
  1. Mark and make cut.

    -A-  > Length 20 mm

  2. Disconnect connection points.
    1. 2.1  Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal system, aluminum  and > VAS 6790 - compact booster  .

    2. 2.2  Drill out spotwelds.

  3. Cut welded seams on the seat cross member.

  4. Heat up bonding areas.

  5. Remove seat cross member.
